Honor Code

Member's Affirmation-
I don't hack, talk smack, cheat or exploit, the game, other players or clan members.
I help when I can, teach what I know, give of my time to add to everyone's benefit.
I am there for a clan member when called and leave when he no longer needs my help.
My exemplary conduct will result in responsibilities and high regard by other members.
I don't engage in gossip or personal attacks against other clan members.
My presence at clan activities adds to THB's aura of strength earning respect from all.

Public Relations

BF2 is worldwide bringing people from all walks of life into our midst. We intend to maintain a good public image, our Honor Code says it all. This is how we want to be known and who we want =THB= to be. Every member of =THB= is an emissary of the Holy Brotherhood to the rest of the BF2 community. We shoot for a higher standard of contact with other people so please keep the Honor Code in mind when posting in other forums, playing in games with non-members and using team Speak/VoIP. We are loyal to our own but at the same time =THB= is not an "anything goes" group of people. The right "word" at the right time can be funny or even stress relieving but too much of a "good thing" can backfire. With that in mind please be cautious with excessive use of derogatory comments, profanity or other excesses can create a negative and incorrect perception of who and what =THB= is.

Recruitment

Membership is a petition, performance, sponsorship and selection board process.

1. First step is the candidate petitions membership in the recruitment section of the =THB= Forums
2. Next is the candidate meets with and plays with clan members as frequently as possible
3. The candidate finds two THB member sponsors (makes friends with clan members)
4. The sponsors petition the selection board for acceptance.
5. The board decides only two possiblilities delay or acceptance, no declinations are given out.
-Delays are expressed as "play another # of games with us before we reconvene and review your petition"
-Acceptance is an acknowledgement by email then a Team Speak Ceremony and posting in the =THB= website's  Feature News: Welcome New Members
6. Some members are given Honorary Membership without any of the above steps being taken. These are, for example, younger family members, curious spouses and maybe some who prefer not to join clans but stick with =THB= on game day for weeks and weeks. A special Honorary Recognition place should be made for them.

Participation

1. Minimum participation to remain on the active roles of =THB= is required. Maintain an average attendance at the weekly meetings of once per week. A member's presence in the clan can be expressed as game time, article postings, research and help links. Leaves of Absence are expected just keep up informed of your longer absenses (email or in the forum).
2. The use of Team Speak (=THB's= current VoIP tool of choice) is strongly recommended. BF2 In-Game two-way VoIP is a minimum requirement. Team Speak nicknames will follow the format: playername[name].

Rank, Title and Assignments

1. Rank. Rank is expressed by attained rank in any online multplayer games played. It has real application to =THB= clans in-game activites.
2. Title. Title is an assignment given by the Core Council and represents a specific set of responsibilites and authority.
3. Assignments. Assignments, call them Quests, are tasks given a members by the Core Council and accepted by the member. Assignments give temporary equivalent of Titles.

Core Council

The Core Council is a group of select members overseeing clan functions and processes. The Founder chooses the council members as needed for a designated duration. Elders may carry additional titles within the clan to expedite required activities such as a President of the Selection Board for Recruitment (who would form and run Candidate Selection Boards). These Council titles can be created to accomplish any purpose.

Scheduled Activities

1. Clan "meetings" are done Friday and Saturday nights beginning 7-11pm PST.
